Welcome Woodlawn Transport Solutions (WTS)!

We’re proud to introduce Woodlawn Transport Solutions (WTS) — a dynamic new division operating under the Village of Woodlawn, based out of the Woodlawn Fire Department.

In just under a year, WTS has grown from a single ambulance to a fleet of four fully certified units, offering both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) services. This rapid growth reflects not only our commitment to excellence but also our dedication to serving the community with compassion, professionalism, and pride.

Our mission is simple: to give back to the community that supports us. Thanks to the generous support of the Village of Woodlawn, we are building more than just a transportation service — we are laying the foundation for a new era in fire and EMS services, starting right here at home.

What We Are:

Woodlawn Transport Solutions is a non-emergency entity designed to service request-based customers in need of transportation to and from necessary medical care.

We currently provide patient transportation for multiple objectives:

Inter-Facility | Doctors Appointment's | Discharges | Priority ("non-emergent") ED transport 
          (Examples: bad labs, stomach pain, dislodged foley catheter, pink slip, possible sepsis/UTI, etc.)

	
Who We Service:

Transport eligibility of a requesting party includes (but is not limited to) individuals who are:

(A minimum of one must apply in order to qualify for transport)

Enrolled in health insurance
Covered by facility pay
Billed via private pay
Those who qualify for Medicaid-eligible transport
